Taking Their Dance Skills Beyond the Classroom
"As always, the feedback from the lessons and the socials was fabulous, so thank you again for giving the students and the teachers, such a positive and memorable experience.
The Year Sixes were on camp recently and we had a karaoke night in our accommodation. They asked me to put 'Beat It" on. I expected them to sing, but they all did the dance you taught them! It was fantastic to see them using their new skills (while also navigating the furniture in the room!). I told them they would make Debbie-Anne proud!
I had to also let you know that we had a 'Neon Social' last week, I was at the Upper Primary one, and once again Beat it came on and the whole group (Years 4-6) were whizzing round the dance floor putting into practice the skills they learnt with you!
It's just fabulous to see that they are so keen to use what they learnt!"

Where Dance Brings Students Together
"Once again we are so thankful for your work with our school. What a week! The children all thoroughly enjoyed participating in the dances and all learnt so much. Not just the dances, but the social skills they learnt as well which is so well received by parents too.
Your dedication and passion for this programme in schools is so evident and we are incredibly lucky to have you along at our school. I believe the Friday disco was sensational. The children all danced amazing and parents were totally impressed with what they saw. I was so disappointed that I couldn't be there but I have seen lots of videos already from the parents and staff that are wonderful.
Thank you again for taking the time to come down to our little school. It is wonderful that we can welcome you every year and we hope that you will be able to come down again next year. So please include us in your timetabling.

Knowing the social and physical opportunities provided by Humphreys Dance when leading another school, we were keen to bring Humphreys Dance Studio to our school in Margaret River. Timetabling the dance program in the first month of school, we used the experience to provide pre-primary to year 6 students with a week of daily dance lessons and social interaction, culminating in the week's highlight - the Disco! This is such a community event, with Debbie-Anne Humphreys ensuring parents hit the dance floor with their children."
