Building Confidence and Creativity for Over 20 Years
“Humphreys Dance Schools Program has been a wonderful partnership with Wattle Grove Primary School for more than 20 years. Each year, the children from K-6 learn a wide range of dances set to modern, age-appropriate music, and it’s amazing to see how their confidence and ability grow over time. Skills are carefully built upon from one year to the next, allowing students to develop coordination, creativity, teamwork and socialisation in a fun and supportive environment. The progression is clear, and the children are always proud to showcase their dancing skills to their parents and families. The instructors from Humphreys Dance Schools are highly skilled and always professional. It is always a pleasure to have them in our school. “

Creating Lifelong Memories Through Dance, Confidence & Community
"Humphreys Dance Schools Program has been a fixture at Wembley Primary School for nearly two decades. Expert dancers, often led by Principal Debbie-Anne Humphreys attend in Term 4 and separately take Grades 4, 5 and 6 for a series of 8 one hour dancing lessons.

Up to three dancers attend for each session and with an inspiring selection of music and using their own PA system the dancers lead the children through a series of well-choreographed and often challenging dance routines.

All children are able to attain a good level of skills over the eight-week period. The dancing has benefits across all sports in that it really helps develop coordination, teamwork and general self-confidence.

In addition, the Year 6 Cohort has an end of year Dinner Dance which is run entirely by the Humphreys Dance Schools Program and includes all the dances that have been taught during the season. Parents are invited to attend at the end for a final dance with their child. It is a brilliant way to end the year for the Year 6 group".
John Porteous - Year 6 Teacher - Wembley Primary School
“
Knowing the social and physical opportunities provided by Humphreys Dance when leading another school, we were keen to bring Humphreys Dance Studio to our school in Margaret River. Timetabling the dance program in the first month of school, we used the experience to provide pre-primary to year 6 students with a week of daily dance lessons and social interaction, culminating in the week's highlight - the Disco! This is such a community event, with Debbie-Anne Humphreys ensuring parents hit the dance floor with their children."
Lisa Helenius., Principal - Rapids Landing Primary School.
“
Edgewater Primary School has partnered with Humphreys Dance Schools Program for a number of years now, implementing Dance lessons for our Year 6 graduating students. Not only have the lessons been engaging for the students - offering them a variety of dances to learn and participate in - but they have promoted skills such as collaboration, manners and respect. The Programme has allowed our students to enjoy dancing and socialising with their friends, whilst also giving them oppportunities for work with variety of people, fostering positive relationships amongst the cohort."
Adam Smith., Teacher - Edgewater Primary School.
“
Humphreys Dance School has worked closely with our school to deliver a structured and engaging dance program for our Year 6 students, culminating in their participation in a variety of dances at the Year 6 Graduation Dinner Dance. The carefully designed lessons create life-long memories while also strengthening students' understanding of modern dancing techniques. Throughout the program, students develop musicality, balance, coordination and essential social skills. All attributes that strongly complement academic success."
